The client had a dark dingy hallway that they were desperate to get more light into. Our suggestion, as they were creating a balcony on top of an existing conservatory, was to remove the small window currently in place and put in a set of Aluminium Bi Fold doors along with a modern flat rooflight.
The installation of the roof light was not standard as the overall size was 3.6m x 1.8m in 8mm toughened glazing requiring laminate glass supports. The rooflight is seamless and offers a beautiful finish to a stylish home.
